About Jim Diamond

The website creator worked two top City law firms in the 80s & 90s. He has acted for and against the majority of the top 100 English law firms on costs disputes.

Major legal publications have published his articles on the subject, including ‘Defective Billing Practices’, (Legal 500 1998) and ‘Rip Off Britain’ (Legal Business 2003).

He has addressed major conferences including the 2003 Law Society Annual Conference and the 2005 Judges and Costs Judges Forum at the Royal Courts of Justice. Not a single lawyer or Judge has questioned his interpretation of the law on costs.
